Team Categories & Fees:
The 2008 24 Hour Video Race is limited to 100 teams. Teams are not registered until paid in full, so get your registration in early to save your spot! PAYMENTS MUST BE RECEIVED BY FRIDAY, MAY 9 TO SECURE YOUR SPOT.
Since the lines between “amateur” and “professional” can be so blurry, and since we know that titles aren’t necessarily indicative of skills or talent, we’ve dispensed with those categories, and, with the exception of student teams, we are grouping teams by size.
Fees are a flat fee per team, plus $5 per team member. While we realize that things can change at the last minute, you are strongly encouraged to field the size of team that you contemplate in your registration.
Pixelvision Division:
K-12 teams; no limit on size
$75/team + $5/team member
Team captains must be 18 years of age or older or adult mentor must register and supervise team. Team captain is responsible for providing VAD with written evidence that each participant under 18 has obtained the prior written consent of a parent or legal guardian to participate in the 24 Hour Video Race.
Futurevision Division:
College/University/Recent grads; no limit on size
$75/team + $5/team member
Auteur Division:
Professional or amateur
1 or 2 members
$50 each person
Guerilla Division:
Professional or amateur
3-5 members
$150/team + $5/team member
Hollywood Division:
Professional or amateur
6 or more members; no upper limit on team size
$250/team + $5/team member
